Gay sheep! Steve Marais has partnered with Bill Kaulitz and the "Rainbow Wool" initiative to highlight the fact that around 8 - 10% of rams exhibit exclusive same-sex preferences. Scientifically, homosexuality has been documented across numerous mammal species, including humans and wait for it, sheep.

The series was shot on a sheep farm in central Germany, where Michael & Jochen, the gay farmers Schäferei Stücke, houses their gay sheep on the prettiest piece of land in the region.

In partnership with LSVD+, Rainbow Wool supports projects that raise visibility for queer people and support their fight for legal and social equality around the world.
