Frieder Sell for Container Love

The rain stopped, Teufelssee glistened. With a small crew, Steve Marais set out to capture Frieder Sell for Container Love's "10 years of Visible Love" exhibition. Choosing Teufelssee was intentional, recognising its historical significance as a Berlin queer space. This shoot pays homage to the rich heritage of LGBTQIA+ individuals who find solace in the Grunewald forest. The location's beauty juxtaposes the theme of "Visible Love." Provocative visuals against this serene backdrop prompt contemplation of the interplay between societal norms and the freedom of self-expression, encouraging a deeper understanding of love and inclusivity.
